We are delighted to be supporting Cleeve school with a truly fantastic ambition to encourage all 280 students of Year 9 to complete their Bronze Duke of Edinburgh (DofE) award. This is ambitious and unprecedented for any school, and will result in Cleeve being one of only 2 schools in the South West of England running DofE for every student in this year. An absolutely brilliant way to engage all the students after a very difficult 2 years for schooling.
Our support will be specifically go to help 60 disadvantaged and special needs students who may not otherwise have the opportunity to participate. Our funding will go towards buying school kit such as; tents, sleeping bags, rucksacks, walking boots and waterproofs to not only be used by the 60 students this year but can then be reused over the next few years. A fantastic legacy to help support other young adventurers in the years ahead.
