Three new grants…

We are delighted to be working with the Urban Adventure Base in Tower Hamlets again and supporting Lukas, Rahim and Charlie on their first big adventure.

The trip had originally been planned as a cycling and walking expedition in Slovenia but, unfortunately due to ongoing COVID travel restrictions the trip has now been moved to the Isle of Wight. However, this hasn’t diminished our adventurer’s excitement and enthusiasm for the trip, and this will still be a huge personal challenge for all three.

Lukas has quite severe disabilities, Rahim is diagnosed with autism and Charlie, as a young carer has been self isolating for most of the pandemic with his vulnerable grandmother and mother. They are all truly inspirational in dealing with their respective challenges and we are so pleased and honoured to be able to support their fantastic adventure.

Lukas, Rahim and Charlie all promised to share a photo diary of their exploits and we look forward to sharing an update with you all when they return from their trip.

A huge thank you to all our wonderful supporters, your donations are really helping some truly inspirational and deserving young people realise their adventure ambitions.
