Of course we all know this already but this is now part of historic record. Today, Andrew was awarded the Queens Gallantry medal by The Prince of Wales at Buckingham Palace. Lucy accepted the medal on Andrew’s behalf and the ceremony was also attended by the rest of Andrew’s family; Julie, David, Matthew and Hope.
It was an incredibly bitter sweet moment for all of Andrew’s family. Obviously we are so proud and honoured to be there on behalf of Andrew and this is recognition he truly deserves. But we miss him so much every moment of every day and how we wish he was still in our lives regaling us with his and Lucy’s latest adventures.
Andy is a true legend whose bravery is an inspiration to us all. #andyband
